چکیده

Spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) is the most important cereal in Iceland and its national breeding program aims to select genotypes adapted environment. A critical step understand adaptation of Nordic material a cool maritime climate assess genotype by environment interaction (GxE). In this study, we evaluated yield thousand-kernel weight (TKW) 32 spring seven Icelandic environments. We applied three methods analyze GxE: additive main effects multiplicative model, factorial linear mixed model. For yield, GxE was mainly caused better response six-row compared two-row high fertility soils. TKW, showed pattern along gradient daily mean temperatures. This translated into divergent TKW between 2-row 6-row genotypes, with substantial crossovers temperature gradient. disentangled using all methods, illustrating value cross-analysis. As trait interest for cultivation Iceland, few performance have been observed environments, definition one mega-environment recommended breeding. identified promising genetic both traits highlighted superiority yield.

evaluation of genotype×environment interaction in barley (hordeum vulgare l.) based on ammi model using developed sas program

understanding the implication of genotype-by-environment interaction (gei) and improving stability of crop yield in a target production environment is important in plant breeding. in this research, we used the ammi (additive main effects and multiplicative interaction) model to identify the stable genotype(s) by predictive accuracy of yield data. results of this study indicated that the fgh tes...

Genotype-location Interaction of Indica Rice Using Ammi Model

Phenotypic stability of 12 rice genotypes for plant height, days to maturity and yield were assessed at five different locations through regression and deviation from regression using Additive Main Effect and Multiplicative Interaction (AMMI) model. The result showed highly significant genotypic and G x E interaction. The G x E interaction influenced the relative ranking of the genotypes tested...

Graphic Analysis of Genotype by Environment Interaction for Maize Hybrid Yield Using Site Regression Stability Model

Selection of maize (Zea mays) hybrids with wide adaptability across diverse farming environments is important, prior to recommending them to achieve a high rate of hybrid adoption. Grain yield of 14 maize hybrids, tested in a randomized completeblock design with four replicates across 22 environments in Iran, was analyzed using site regression (SREG) stability model. The biplot technique facili...

A robust AMMI model for the analysis of genotype-by-environment data

MOTIVATION One of the most widely used models to analyse genotype-by-environment data is the additive main effects and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) model. Genotype-by-environment data resulting from multi-location trials are usually organized in two-way tables with genotypes in the rows and environments (location-year combinations) in the columns. The AMMI model applies singular value deco...
